GOOD DAYS

#Day 18 (12/04/2014): I did nothing productive today! But I guess the good thing is I got to laze around and take things slow. Saturdays like this are so precious I wish they never had to end. ☺ #Day 19 (13/04/2014): Spent a couple of hours at the gran's place today! As usual, spent a lot of time talking to my demented grandfather, who is also very, very  hard on hearing but I love talking to him nonetheless. ☺ I love his responses and his quirky remarks. I only pray he'll be around long enough to see me get married and that he'll always be healthy and strong. ☺ #Day 20 (14/04/2014): It's the first day of the last week of school and while I'm excited, I'm scared too. Korean listening went pretty okay. We also made kimbap  during class. ☺ I ate mine on the spot so no photos but just know I enjoyed myself today! I really like my Korean class. Even though I don't know most of them, my tutor is really encouraging and she's so enthusiastic about...

REMEMBERING

More of the #100happydays to come! #Day 13 (07/04/2014): Today, I found out Fairy Tail has returned to the mini screen! Super excited that I watched it first thing this morning before leaving house for school. ☺ Fell in love with the opening song immediately and all my NaLu feels… Oh my, I know this season is gonna be an awesome one! Thank God for BoA's voice and the amazing opening really. We might finally see NaLu happening (not). I've read the manga and I know it's definitely not headed that way but the anime looks a lot more… sharper now. I notice the minor changes they made to Mira and Gajeel and every one actually but I actually think Gajeel looks uglier. Or maybe not . Whatever it is! I enjoyed today's episode! #Day 14 (08/04/2014): Thankful for Tuesdays because I get to go home early! Only one hour of lesson so I ate lunch at home today. ☺ Read the newspapers because that's what I have to do every Tuesday (every day, actually) in pre...

Photography

#Day 2 (27/3/2014): Amidst half preparing myself for a test plus half battling sleep deprivation, I was pleasantly greeted by a Facebook notification on Kay Chin's comments in response to my work. Nothing beats having your efforts recognized. ☺  Most of you are probably already aware but I'm taking a module called Photojournalism  and Kay Chin is the teacher in charge. Pretty nice fellow! He's apparently a famous photographer in Singapore and he even has his own Wikipedia page. If you're wondering, the second comment is actually a critique for an assignment: Caption:  When someone we never thought we had to live without stops coming home, the only thing that's left is the void he/she left behind. No matter how hard we try, no matter how much time passes, that void will probably remain for a long time. Even though the adult in us has learned to move, sometimes the child in us continues to wish for him/her to miraculously show up at our doorst...
