Thankful Thursday E03

Resuming the Thankful Thursday  series because I find it therapeutic to practice gratitude and it helps me remember the many things and people I am blessed with in life. Instagram says we last met 22 weeks ago. It might sound like a long time but there was a three-year gap in our friendship and it wasn't easy getting back on track. We're doing a lot better these days and I honestly couldn't ask for more. Today I met Angel! Spent but a couple of hours chit-chatting over dinner, walking around town and into shops looking at clothes and shoes and bags before finally retiring for the night. Thankful Thursday E02

(Sidetrack: I love people. Yes, I do. But I admittedly hate crowds. It makes me sick, a someone-stuffed-his/her-fist-down-my-gut-and-is-having-fun-tugging-at-intestines kind of sick. I don't believe in vibrating negativity (because it attracts more negativity), which is probably why and how I don't remain upset for a long time. But it felt different this time. Maybe because I decided to try for something I had no confidence in but still...

Thankful Thursday E01

Good day, every one! Inspired to begin a new series of posts every Thursday after chancing upon the #ThankfulThursday as I was scrolling through Instagram some 4 weeks ago. I am supposed to do one every Thursday but because I missed the second week, so here's the third one: (Missing Hannah but) non-stop laughter and random chatter; what would life be without you girls? 🙆 Not many know but WKWSCI wasn't always my first choice. I mean, it was my first choice on paper and, at one point, I was very determined to get in so that I could bunk with Grace in Year 1. But I was worried, honestly, about having no friends. Back then, the thought of mingling with new people kind of scared  me so I chose to follow my friends to FASS instead. Weeks after I made the decision to accept FASS's offer, I realised my friends weren't exactly friends . I felt more left out than I thought I would because I always thought those people were going to be my forever-friends. ...
