Paradise Dynasty

It's always nice waking up on a Monday knowing I don't have to rush to prep myself for school. It has been pretty much a free-and-easy day today and I'm loving every minute thus far. 😌 Decided to check in because, as the title suggests, I made my virgin trip to Paradise Dynasty earlier this afternoon. 😊 Well, since I'm at it, I might as well give y'all a breakdown of what my day has been like. My mama woke me up at about 9AM, asking me if I'd like to head out to my grandmother's new (and still vacant) place with the rest of the family. I didn't believe her when she said the teeter was going too so I got out of bed and went into her room to see for myself. True enough! She was surprisingly awake. It was then I decided to head out with the entire family. We took a cab down to my grandma's new home and offloaded all the stuff she needed for her housewarming prayers. Hung around for a while because the new place is really quite a sight. 😌 ...

Hello October

Allow me to do a little throwback since I didn't get a chance to blog about my mama's birthday 2 days ago. 😎 Unlike the last few years, we threw a small celebration this year mainly because my mama's birthday happens to fall on a Tuesday. We were all busy with school and work during the days building up to her birthday so we didn't have time to organise anything on a bigger scale. Nonetheless, I'm super happy we got to spend some family time together. ❤️ Mama began her day at the temple and then she came home before we left house together. I had an interview at 2PM while she went for her leg massage. After my interview, I headed towards Thomson Plaza to collect her cake! This year, Mama's birthday coincides with a 9-day prayer (Navarathri) and so she's vegetarian up until Sunday so we sought for eggless cakes and found The Cake Shop. 😀 Am so glad we tried something else but EmiCakes. I bought the candles separately at $1.60 each. Anyway, we ...

forever blessed / forever thankful

I just cannot emphasise how precious my family is to me and how fortunate I am to have them in my life. Truth is we may not always see eye to eye and I may not get to see my extended family often but I still consider them indispensable. :') Yesterday was an amazing day although it later on got neutralised by some bad news. Point is it started off amazing and I had one ball of a time celebrating my grandfather's 86th birthday! When we got there, my grandfather's therapist, Melinda, was already there and he was so engaged in conversing with her he barely gave us any attention. My grandfather is a very animated person and even though he suffers from Alzheimer's dementia, he is definitely still a man of wise words. Above: he was telling Melinda how he ended up in Singapore (much against his will at that). Every time he sees me, he assumes I'm still somewhere in Secondary School, which means I stopped ageing for 6 years and counting. Well, he beli...

SUNDATE

Haven't been able to update with ease because I recently sent my Macbaby for servicing, which cost me $128 , and so I've no means of transferring my photos from my camera to my iPhoto. And then my phone has started acting up again so Camera360 keeps crashing and when I tried re-installing, it just won't load anymore??? Also, my phone's running out of battery very  quickly. I think it's a sign that its time is up. Admittedly, barely anyone nowadays would use a phone for more than 2 years. My iPhone 4s lasted me through 4 years. -inserts proud smiley face here- Well, only 5 more months till I get to change my phone! Anyway, here's the update I've been wanting to post: Yesterday's get-up in the sister's  Ohvola 's dress. It is a size L and slightly big on the armholes so the laser cut don't show as nice and it's supposed to be (but I'm not complaining). Body hugging on the top and flare at the bottom is a piece I really appreciate....
