Everyone probably already knows I've been shopping MDS for the longest time and I rarely switch to other brands because I usually can get whatever I need/want from MDS. Safe to say, though, their recent collections are personally a little disappointing.

2. Cooper Cut-in Top (Periwinkle) ($26)

I don't think I need to explain why I chose these 2 pieces but I will anyway (because it excites me to talk about them).
The slight slit on the skirt gives off a subtle sexy vibe and the foldover does well in hiding my thunder thighs. It's feminine yet flirtatious at the same time. I chose white because it's such a pristine colour and rounds up the entire look cleanly. The thick material also successfully conceals any tummy!
For the top, I went for a different colour this time but I was no less drawn to the periwinkle colour for it's natural look. It's strangely therapeutic to look at this pastel, almost sky blue colour piece. I picked blue for a change but I already know this is going to be one of my most worn-to-death tops, thanks to its perfect fit!
Below are a couple more of my picks!
3. Kenzo Pleated Culottes (Dusty Pink) ($33)

These culottes come in the perfect fit and the most beautiful pink ever. It's no wonder they are on backorder right now. I mean, I'd ogle at them all day long! One of the woes of being short is that I'll never find bottoms of the right length but culottes have got to be my life-saver. They fall slightly below my knees and I love it. I love how comfy they can be with the flare but how professional they can be at the same time by matching with the right top!
Feeding my fetish for culottes, I also bagged the one in black!
4. Hyde Parka (Hunter Green) ($39.90)

But I guess it's also a good time to start looking into other retail outlets. In the last couple of weeks, I've frequented FashMob, TCL, TexasRed, YoungHungryFree, Everyday People, TTR and I've to say TTR is by far my favourite.
I've gone back so many times with the thought of carting out more items and I am honestly having a hard time resisting the temptation to.
I previously only bagged the Flippy Scuba Skirt (Black Tropicals) because it was the first time shopping with TTR.
I take a while to get convinced about the shopping experience but glad to say I fell in love with my first purchase and thereafter did not hesitate to go back for more. I constantly check in to see their latest collections and their newer releases have been rather impressive.
Yesterday, I decided to reward myself because I took up my first permanent class. I've been relief teaching all this while and turned down all the offers for permanent classes because I was unsure of committing myself amidst the already long and exhausting schedule in school.
I guess I only decided to take over this class because I've relief taught them 4 times in 2 months and I'd say we get along pretty well. It's also a good chance for extra cash so why not?
Anyway, my reward came in 2 forms - Lauren Pelmet Skirt (White) and Cooper Cut-in Top (Periwinkle).

4. Hyde Parka (Hunter Green) ($39.90)

I can get a little carried away with pretty outerwears but parkas have got to be one of my wardrobe staples. I went for the unconventional hunter green as opposed to the khaki or black one because even though it's hunter green, it seems like a real deep grey and I love it like that. As we enter the monsoon season, I don't see why I should turn down such a lovely piece!
5. Kinston Button Down Shirt (Blush Pink) ($27)

I don't think I will ever get tired of this laid-back style. Of course, I just had to pick the one that comes in my favourite colour!
I have the same style in navy, red and cracked marble (from HollyHoque). My mom has the same style in blue checkered and white so I decided to expand the collection with a blush one. It's so pretty and perfect for Fridays (or every day for that matter).
6. Cooper Cut-in Top (Peach) ($26)

Also carted out the Cooper Cut-in Top in peach!
This is the first time I bought the same design in a different colour. I'm usually all for different designs and bold colours but I couldn't resist the Cooper Cut-in Top because of its versatility and convenience.
I love how thick the material is how lean it makes my arms look by revealing a bit more of my shoulders. It's actually quite a sexy fit!

I cannot deny how contented I am shopping at The Tinsel Rack. 🙆 I have evidently fallen in love with their recent releases but I'm also quite glad because their later collections are quite suitable for work. At least where I work at.
TTR is releasing yet another collection tonight (8PM)! I feel like I've waited forever for a new launch. 😂
